Using WDS and AZtecWave For Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Metals

Wave dispersive spectroscopy (WDS) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) were used in combination to quantifiably analyse a piece of Kovar, to check if the chemistry fits within the specification sheet. It was found that the chemistry of the metal did fit within the specification.
