Defining our support

At Oxford Instruments, we categorise the support we offer for our products into three distinct levels:

•  Full Support - We provide complete maintenance and repair services for software and hardware, ensuring system compatibility.
•  Limited Support – We provide only restricted assistance for the product's hardware and software. Limitations will be clearly outlined. 
•  End of Support – Support for this product, including upgrades and updates, is no longer available.

A product’s milestones and timeline

At Oxford Instruments, we believe in navigating the journey of our products with transparency and commitment to quality. Our product lifecycle is defined by significant milestones that highlight our achievements and dedication to excellence in support. Here are the key milestones in our product journey:

•  Release of Product – The date when the product is launched and made available for purchase.
•  Withdrawal of Sale – The date when we announce that the product is no longer available for purchase.
•  Withdrawal of Support – The date from which we will no longer provide repair services, parts, or software support for that product.

Our product release and withdrawal timelines are influenced by market demand and technological advancements.

We provide support for all products for a minimum of 7 years from the Withdrawal of Sale date, which will be noted in the "Withdrawal of Support" section. We will update this if support duration is extended.

While we aim for comprehensive support, there may be limitations due to circumstances beyond our control, and we will communicate these clearly.
